How to Recognize if You Have Anxiety

Are you wondering if you have anxiety? It can be hard to tell if our worries are situational and helpful or excessive and unhelpful. Is your level of worry normal? You may ask yourself, "Does everyone worry about fill in the blank?" or "How do other people manage their days without worrying about fill in the blank?"

Anxiety can present in various ways. How one individual experiences anxiety may be very different from how someone else experiences it. A few common anxiety symptoms include:

Excessive worry: Do you find yourself worrying excessively about everyday situations or events? You may have anxiety.

Restlessness: Do you often feel restless or unable to relax, even in a calm environment? This can be a sign of anxiety.

Irritability: Are you easily irritated or annoyed? Anxiety may be the cause.

Difficulty concentrating: Do you have trouble focusing or remembering important information? It is hard to stay focused when struggling with many distressing thoughts!

Muscle tension: Do you experience muscle tension, which leads to headaches, neck pain, and other physical symptoms? YOu may have anxiety.

Sleep disturbances: Trouble falling asleep or staying asleep? Experience a significant level of tiredness and fatigue? Another sign you may have anxiety.
